Love, Joy, Peace...

Pye Lakwa Christian Center

In March 2002, a group of young Christians in Connecticut (USA) came together to study the Word of God in the most intellectual, theological and spiritual way upon the leadership of Vadick Cantave, Darlene J. Auguste and Dayard (Tibob) Jerome. They were driven mainly by the lack of capable leaders in the local churches of the community who saw and treated professionals and anyone capable of intellectuality as a menace.

Almost 20 years after, in 2019, three of those Christians -Rev. Renel Richardson, Rev. Davidson Dagrin and Rev. Dayard Jerome (Tibob)- came together in a way that only God could have done it. Inspired by the same motives and following their new calling to pastoral leadership, they became co-pastors in a church in Boston for about a year. As the pandemics Covid-19 put the world to a sudden halt, it became impractical for them to travel back and forth between Connecticut and Massachusetts and other conditions sent them to a corner.

In May 2020, after a month of (pastoral) inactivity, suggested by their wives, they started to train a team as the first step to establishing a church organization to be the solution to the very problems that put them together. Pye Lakwa Christian Center was thus formed.
